How to Apply for the Disability Grant
To apply:

- Visit your nearest SASSA office to complete the application form.
- An officer will help submit it online with supporting docs.
- If approved, you will receive an SMS notification within 90 days.
Payment for SASSA Disability Grant
If approved, the monthly grant of R1,980 is paid via:
- Direct deposit into your personal bank account
- Withdrawing cash from SASSA pay points
- SASSA card payment at designated pay points
