How to Apply for the Disability Grant

To apply:

  3. An officer will help submit it online with supporting docs.
  4. If approved, you will receive an SMS notification within 90 days.

Payment for SASSA Disability Grant

If approved, the monthly grant of R1,980 is paid via:

  • Direct deposit into your personal bank account
  • Withdrawing cash from SASSA pay points
  • SASSA card payment at designated pay points
