The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced the payment dates for various social grants for the month of March 2024.
Recipients of SASSA grants including Older Person’s Grant, Disability Grant, Child Support Grant and Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant should take note of the March 2024 payment dates.
Payment Dates for March 2024:
- Older Person’s Grant: 5th March 2024
- Disability Grant: 6th March 2024
- Child Support Grant: 7th March 2024
- Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant: 8th March 2024
If the set date falls on a weekend or public holiday, recipients will receive their grant payment on the preceding work day.
Beneficiaries should check their SASSA status regularly to track updates on grant payments. Status can be checked via USSD, WhatsApp, SASSA website, mobile app or local offices.
